Photography Class!

I am taking a class!  It is so great to finally get the chance to learn more about something I absolutely love to do!!  I have learned so much already.  Our assignment was to take some pictures, using the techniques we were taught.  We learned about lighting, composition, and some other secrets :)  I love the result!   I took these yesterday at the lovely home where I teach.   There is absolutely NO editing on these.

Yum, can you smell those grapefruit?  While teaching they taunt me with their incredible scent.  I love how the light dances off the surface of the fruit and shows their bumpy detail!  They are so incredibly juicy and sweet.  Next time I will have to take a photo of the inside of the fruit.

What I love today...

Alysa had the fantabulous idea of blogging about something you love everyday leading up to Valentine's Day. So I'm taking the challenge Alysa! I'm going to start with the result of what I did ALL day today...

I LOVE A CLEAN HOUSE!

I didn't say I love to clean it... I just love it when it's clean.

When Dr. Laura is on the radio when I'm cleaning is a huge plus.

I love when everything is in its place AND there are NO dustbunnies anywhere.

The tile must be spotless...

The dishes must be all washed, dried and put away... Ahhhhh... love it.

Only problem is, I look like a wreck!

Come on baby!

This is Cary... my new friend and neighbor.  She is cuter than cute don't you think?  She is 5 days overdue... That's right folks... FIVE days!!!  Look how tiny she is!  Look how adorable!  Can't wait to see her new little bundle of joy!  (Her first baby... I just can't stand it I'm so excited for her!)
