Bathtowel headwraps, squirt guns, cute faces, baby milestones and nose picking

I think I may have some pictures that are begging to hung in the bathroom!   Here are a few of my favorites.

It's amazing how much fun my 5 year old can have with a $1 squirt gun.  Gotta love these cute shots.

And he even shares with his little sis....

Well they were happy for a while... then the 5 year old decided it would be more fun to chase his sister and try to scare her.  Poor little thing.

She is like Linus with her 'banbee' (blankee)... she carries it everywhere.  We took away the bottle 'cold turkey' about a month ago and it was sad for a few nights, listening to her cry... and feeling like a mean mom.  But soon she was going to sleep on her own.  She sometimes even sings herself to sleep.  She is babbling like crazy now... and the words are starting to form.  She is extremely independent, but also a lovebug.  Today at a party, she went up to a friend's Grandma and let her hold her... head on shoulder... for the longest time... awwww...
I guess she is missing her Grandma!
She turned 18 months this week and is going into the church nursery tomorrow!
I have mixed feelings...
happy to see her grow....
but sad to let her go....

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!

Fun at the Park

This little face says it all...this girl LOVES the park!  When we go to pick up big brother from school she makes a bee-line for the playground.  Her giggle just makes me happy to be her mommy :)

Having some fun with my camera!  I just love this cute shot of her footsies!

Big brother loves to push!

Just chillin in the swing.

I was laying on the ground, staring up at her, hoping she didn't kick me in the face (or in the camera)... this look says it all... "Mom you are strange!"

These cute girls have been best friends for the past 4 years.  It's neat how well they get along.  It's nice to have that special friend that is with you through it all.

We didn't have much luck with the wind that day :(

I was about to put my camera away, when I saw my five year old and his friend having a blast at the drinking fountain!  I love my zoom lens... I can stay out of the action but get some cool shots without cropping and without getting my camera wet!

Don't these pictures make you want to play in the water on a hot day?  So fun!

Kid's Club 2010!

My two oldest children started Kid's Club back in 2008.    The basic idea is to organize a fun, safe, creative time for kids.  During Spring Break they put one on with an Easter theme.  I was impressed at how much they've grown and how they know what to do to make it successsful... The past two years, I was still orchestrating most of it.  This time, the kids took over.  I loved it.  (They set up, cleaned up and were in great moods for the rest of the day!  Hard work makes you happy!)   It works because the kids that come have a great time, my kids make some money and everyone is doing something constructive (no TV allowed!)  Plus, moms get some time to themselves!)  So if you're local you are welcome to drop your kids off at Kid's Club this summer!  My kiddos are already planning the activities!  We will have it at least once a week.  ALSO, if you need a sitter, call Dallin.   He is now 13, very responsible and great with kids.

How cute is Afton showing me her missing tooth!  This is one of my favorite pictures.  Afton is one of those kids you could photograph all day because she has so many different expressions! (remember the Living Desert post?)

Addi, having fun doing crafts!  It's nice to have a range of different aged children.  Makes it much more interesting.  And the kids love being together and making new friends.

I took a slew of Keegan with the orange.  He is just so cute!

This is one of my favorites.  Afton is such a love bug!  I had to try my signature focal black and white too... sorry if I'm too predictable LOL.

Duck Duck Goose... fun times!

I just love how Emma is a big kid now... she was in heaven with all the friends to play with!  I am sad she's getting so big so fast, but I love watching her grow!

A few of the fun crafts that Aubrey made up for the day.

I love the concentration on her face!

Little miss shy girl was caught singing!!!  I just love this gir

Water babies.... and a dog :)

There is some serious cuteness going on in this post!  What could be cuter than two darling girls, Emma and Elizabeth, and a cute little dog named Ceasar?  What fun.  I just can't take enough pictures.  Between my friend Portia and I, it's like the paparazzi.  Portia is as obsessed as I am with taking pictures.
